All boats and waverunners require a $500 damage deposit per vessel, due at check-in. This may be provided as a card hold or cash. Deposits are released after final inspection if no damage is found.
If a reservation is canceled due to failure to provide a damage deposit, no refund will be issued.
All-Inclusive rentals do not require a damage deposit; however, renters remain fully responsible for all damages, repair costs, and lost rental revenue.
Any damage to equipment or property during your rental is the renter’s responsibility. All repair costs must be paid before leaving the premises. No trip or rental insurance is provided.
All renters and drivers must arrive 30 minutes prior to their reservation time and present a valid physical U.S. driver’s license. International licenses in English are accepted.
A boating license is not required.
All drivers must obtain a temporary license by viewing the required safety video and completing a short quiz at check-in or online.
All-Inclusive rentals include up to one tank of fuel and do not include gratuity or towables. Fuel is not included for standard hourly or overnight rentals.
Fuel usage will be charged at checkout. If checkout is missed, the card on file will be charged and a receipt will be emailed.

Smoky Mountain H2O Sports reserves the right to adjust equipment assignments to ensure safe capacity limits.
Capacity limits must be followed at all times.
Groups are limited to a maximum of three waverunners per reservation. Exceeding this limit may result in forfeiture of the damage deposit.
This policy applies even if multiple reservations are made under different names within the same group.
Reservations exceeding this limit may be canceled without refund.
Waverunner renters are asked to share their location with 423-608-0726 during the rental period for emergency assistance.
Smoky Mountain H2O Sports is a family-oriented company. Alcohol consumption must be kept to a minimum, and a designated sober driver is required at all times.
Food and beverages are permitted. Grills, charcoal, and flammable equipment are strictly prohibited.
All renters must arrive 30 minutes early for check-in.
Late arrivals do not qualify for extended rental time.
Extensions may be granted when available and approved in advance.
Late returns without approval are subject to double the per-minute rental rate. Fees will be applied at checkout or charged to the card on file.
Cancellations due to persistent rain or storms at our location may qualify for a refund or reschedule.
Sprinkling or overcast conditions are not covered.
Overnight rentals are not eligible for weather-related refunds.
